A synagogue is maintained as a function of the organization. Now known as "The New York association for Jewish Children" after a merger in January 1940 of (1) Hebrew Orphan Asylum, (2) Hebrew Sheltering Guardian Society, (3) Fellowship House, and (4) Jewish Children's Charity Bureau.
