Notes: According to the Jewish Communal Register (1917/1918), Dinever K.U.V. was an orthodox congregation that had been organized in 1915 and was located at 178 Stanton Street, with a seating capacity of 50 people and a membership of 60 people. It was associated with a cemetery. According to the 1939 WPA Survey, the Dynower K.U.V. (Kranken Unterstützungs Verein), knows in English as the Dynow Benevolent Society, was organized in 1915 as a benevolent society and a synagogue by emigrants from Dynow, Poland. According to the 1939 Survey, however, it was located at 237 Rivington Street until 1920. It was on Rivington Street at the corner of Pitt Street until 1921, when it moved to 8 Avenue D until 1931. In 1931, it moved to 330 Rivington Street until 1935. At that time it moved to 122 Clinton Street, where it was located in 1939. In 1939, it was associated with 10 cemetery lots at Mount Lebanon Cemetery and 31 cemetery lots at Beth David Cemetery.
