Notes: According to the Jewish Communal Register (1917/1918), this was an orthodox congregation then known as Congregation Anshei Yanov Lublensky U.V. and located at 84 Lewis Street. It had a membership of 150, a seating capacity of 150, and associated sick benefit, insurance, and free loan benefits, as well as an associated cemetery. According to the 1939 WPA Survey, the congregation was then known as the Erste Janalubelska or in English the First Janalubelska Synagogue, located at 82 Lewis Street, organized in 1893 and now located on the first floor of a four-story grey brick building, sharing space with three other synagogue tenants, as well as associating with Mount Hebron and Mount Sinai Cemeteries.
