According to the 1939 WPA Survey: "Disbanded about 10 years ago for lack of membership. For a long time they would pay 3 Jews in neighborhood 25¢ per to complete the "Ten" necessary for services but when they struck for an increase in wages up to 50¢ per the society decided to disband completely. The Torahs were sent to friends in Europe."
