Notes: According to the 1900/1901 and 1907/1908 American Jewish Yearbooks, this congregation was formerly known as Congregation Biker Cholom Bnei Israel Anshe Bernow and Bikur Cholim Bene Israel Anshe Baranow and located at 109 Ridge Street. According to the Jewish Communal Register (1917/1918), it was then located at 630 East 5th Street. According to the 1939 WPA Survey, the congregation had rented space on East 5th Street between Avenues B and C [630 East 5th Street] until 1916 [1917?] when it purchased this building from Congregation Chebra Ahavath Schlomo, which had built the building.
