Notes: According to the 1939 WPA Survey, Achai Grodno and Anshe Sapotin were organized separately in 1893 and 1892, respectively. The two congregations merged in 1914. Other Locations: Hester St (1893-1900), Orchard St. near Broome (1900-1910), Hester & Orchard (1910-1918), 87 Eldridge (1919-1923), 80 Forsyth, (1923-39). The 1939 WPA Survey also states that, "This congregation closed down two months ago… name on the façade at #80 Forsyth is 'Chevra Achi Gradno Anshei Sopotkin."
